Who Are We?
The
mission of the Monadnock Retired & Senior Volunteer Program
(RSVP) and the Monadnock Volunteer Center (MVC) is to mobilize
the skills and talents of people of all ages to help deliver
creative solutions to community needs through volunteerism.
We
include all ages through three programs:
- RSVP – volunteers
over the age of 55
- MVC – volunteers
54 and younger

What We Do
We
work with 70 public and non-profit organizations matching their needs
with volunteers. In addition we facilitate programs that meet other
critical community needs. Our services cover Cheshire and
Hillsborough counties in New Hampshire.

January Day of Service
Honors MLK and Daniels
The
Martin Luther King/Jonathan Daniels Day of Service will be on Martin
Luther King Day, January 17th, 2011. The student Support Group
for Ethnic and Racial Diversity (SERD) at Antioch University New
England, in conjunction with the City of Keene’s Martin Luther
King/Jonathan Daniels Committee and the Monadnock RSVP/Volunteer
Center, have volunteered to organize this Day of Service. Please
join us to remember and carry on the legacies of two of our nation’s
civil rights heroes by volunteering your time and efforts on this
Day of Service in the Keene area.
Meet us to register for
volunteer work at the Keene Parks and Recreation Center, 312
Washington Street @ 8:00 A.M. on the 17th of January 2011. If
you are interested in preregistering, please contact serd.ane@antioch.edu
or visit us on Facebook for more details. In case of inclement
weather, the snow date is Saturday, January 22nd @ 8:00 AM.
