Monadnock Region

 

 

Neighbors-In-Deed is a

program of RSVP and is funded by the Corporation for National and Community

Service.

Faith In Action is a nationwide interfaith  volunteer caregiving initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with over  800 programs located in the United States. Neighbors-In-Deed, a Faith In Action program, has been responding to the needs of the frail/elderly by providing companionship and assistance since 1995.  Neighbors-In-Deed recruits, screens, trains, and mobilizes volunteers to assist the frail/elderly with many tasks of daily living, enabling them to remain in their own homes and maintain their dignity and quality of life. 

Who We help

 

Elders living at home in the Monadnock Region needing assistance who are 65 years of age or an adult with disabilities.

 

Services offered by Neighbors-In-Deed

 

· Friendly Visits

· Assistance with Grocery shopping

· Telephone Reassurance phone calls

· Minor household chores and repairs

· Transportation:

medical appointments

Grocery shopping

· Respite for Caregivers

· Referrals to resources
